Joe CarVision: An Epic Prologue

One of our two computers keeps crashing so Ian is having a pretty hard time exporting voice overs for our next wave of stock Car Vision videos. Its a G5 and its mad slowsky, much slower than our Macbook Pro on which I am currently blogging. Why this is so, we are not quite sure. It may have something to with how we came upon the computer in the first place.
Now this story goes back to our first day on the job (slightly before that even) and begins not with computers but with a man named Mark Hagan who was originally interviewed for the VG position. In the beginning it was position, not two. As in, Vigo decided one guy could produce 500+ 30 second car videos while keeping up with a constantly evolving lot.
While Vigo loved Mark's highly evolved organizational skills , his go get em attidude, as well as the Picasso Bullfighter tat on his forearm, Mark turned down the job. However he recommended his friend Ian; the Ian; the first half of Joe CarVision for the VG position. Ian convinced Vigo to hire a second VG, understanding the mind boggling task at hand.

I had just finished my first day working as a trash cleaner at Citizens Bank Park. I was walking to my car and happened upon a curious voicemail. I called Ian quickly. He said the job was a pretty sure thing and he told to call Arthur Seabra, the head of CarVision.com's Marketing division in order to arrange an interview. I was excited. I said I would.
I proceeded to play phone tag with this Arthur guy for two weeks and my initial excitement slowly changed to frustration then to disappointment. I called Ian. We agreed, the job seemed like an empty offer. I was about to move on when Arthur called again. This was the weekend before the start of April. He wanted me and Ian to start on Tuesday, the 1st of the month. He said he'd call the day before to confirm.
I waited skeptically all Monday. It was all I could do. It seemed to me that this guy would never call back. He didn't. Again, I called Ian and we agreed that we should go on with the rest of our lives. I agreed.
That night I downed two 40s in an attempt to flush away the bad experience. I passed out at 5 in the morning. I thought I'd be sleeping in. However I only got three hours of sleep because at 8 o'clock I got that call I was waiting for...
